My 2-month check-up

Well, she's been poked!! She had her 2-month check-up today which went really well. She now weighs 10 lb, 15.5 oz which puts her in the 50th percentile! This is up from the 10th percentile at her last visit. We're so proud of our little chunky monkey! Her height is right at the 25th percentile. The shots were pretty harrowing for her, but she is doing just fine now. She's actually slept most of the day (exhausted herself out from all the crying this morning, we're guessing). I've attached a picture from our run this weekend, her 2-month snapshot, a picture showing off her scars from today, and one extra cute picture to boot!!

Tinguely Cousins Take Over Maple Grove

What a fun weekend we had!! Annie and Steve's little girl was baptized which meant that the entire family gathered. It was so much fun to see all the little kiddos together! I think Grandma and Grandpa were in heaven!

In addition to the baptism, we were able to get together with some of our dearest friends. It was super fun to see the Moore family (with their two beautiful kids, Madeline and William) and the Seme/Saurez duo (with their new puppy, Bella Luna). We enjoyed Nathan's hotdogs on the grill (yum), cookies from QCB (double yum), and each other's company.

An overdue post

First, let me say I have a good excuse for the hiatus in posts. We got a new computer (a MAC!) and I've been transferring all our pictures over to it. This process has taken much longer than I expected, but it's certainly keeping me busy when Ellie is napping. Speaking of Ellie...gosh darn it, she's CUTE!!
And she's getting so big! She's got a double chin and the "Michelin tire legs" look. We're not sure how much she weighs now, but we have a doctor's appointment in a week, so we'll find out then. She's had a few major milestones these past few weeks. On March 26, she turned one month old! Here's her "One Month" picture.
We celebrated her first Easter by putting her in the requisite cute outfit and celebrating at church with the family. Later in the day, we grilled out at Grandpa and Grandma Dunn's house. We tried to explain what steaks on the grill taste like (amazing!), but she still seems to prefer breast milk. Hopefully her palate expands someday.
The next milestone was watching her first Twins game. Granted, we were in Sioux Falls which meant we had to watch it on TV (and she actually slept through most of it), but she was wearing the team colors and showing her team pride.
Her most recent milestone is sleeping through the night. Granted, it's only happened twice, but we're holding out hope that it might last! However, we are heading out of town this weekend to celebrate Cousin Lainey's baptism in Minneapolis, so I'm guessing the routines are going to get a bit screwy. We're also going to see some college friends which will be great fun!

Joe and I have been enjoying the warmer weather and we're starting to get back into shape. We ran 5 miles last weekend which was my longest run since delivering Ellie, and it went really well. It was actually quite special because all of us ran together (Joe, Jen, Ellie in the jogging stroller, and Lily on her own four rocket boosters). This is Joe and Lily afterwards.
We hope you are doing well! Thanks for reading!
